Four take home UAA Athlete of the Week honors for March 1
Rookies Angela Chui and Marc Eder of the swimming and diving teams, sophomore Paul Norton of men's track and field and senior Caitlin Kozel of the women's fencing team all earned University Athletic Association (UAA) Player of the Week honors for the week ending March 1.

Quartet owns all five school relay records as women's swimming takes 13th at ECACs
Rookie standout Angela Chui and teammates Siobhan Lyons, Hollis Viray and Julia Derk now own all five Brandeis women's swimming and diving relay records, as they helped the Judges place 13th overall at the ECAC All-Division championships at Harvard. The Judges had seven school-record performances in all.

Chui claims All-UAA honors in 400 IM as women's swimming sets four school records
At the UAA championships at the University of Chicago, the Brandeis women's swimming and diving team set four school records. Rookie Angela Chui improved her own mark in the 200- and 400-yard IM, while the 200 and 400 medley relay teams also entered the record books. Chui earned All-UAA honors with her third-place finish in the 400 IM.

Four different triple winners and two victorious relays helped the Brandeis women's swimming and diving team to a 177-120 win over host Trinity in the Judges' final dual meet of the season.

The Brandeis women's swimming and diving team handed Clark University its first dual-meet loss of the season, 129-114, in Worcester. During a break in the meet, the Judges honored their graduating seniors.

Despite 400 medley relay record, women's swimming falls to Wheaton
Although they won a majority of the events and set a school and facility record in the very first relay, the Brandeis women's swimming and diving team could not overcome the depth of host Wheaton, as the Lyons prevailed, 125-118, in the Judges' semester opener.

Chui adds another NCAA mark as women's swimming places fifth at MIT
Brandeis rookie Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) had one of the top performances of the meet as the Brandeis women placed fifth at the MIT Invitational. Chui won three events and had two other top-five finishes while setting three school records and qualifying for the NCAAs in a second event.

Swimming and diving gets swept by Tufts
Despite a fine performance from rookie Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) on the women's side and a win from classmate Marc Eder (Princeton, N.J.), the Brandeis swimming and diving teams could not get past Tufts University. The women dropped a 169.5-114.5 decision, while the men fell, 205-82.

Rookie swimmer Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) and junior Melissa Gorenkoff (Woodbury, N.Y.) of the women's soccer team were named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athletes of the Week for Nov. 10-16.

Rookies Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) and Julia Derk (Greeley, Colo.) were multiple winners tonight as the women's swimming and diving team bested Division II cross-town rival Bentley, 133-108.

Chui qualifies for nationals as women's swimming defeats Babson, 119-89
Rookie Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) continued her outstanding season with three school records, including qualifying for the NCAA championships in the 200-yard backstroke. Along with her teammates, Brandeis won 10 of 13 events in a 119-89 win over Babson.

Senior captain Leah Lipka (Fairbanks, Alaska) and rookies Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) and Julia Derk (Greeley, Colo.) were all multiple winners as the Brandeis women's swimming and diving team downed WPI, 148-137.

Viray, Chui win three as women's swimming and diving downs Keene State
The Brandeis women's swimming and diving team earned its first dual-meet win of the season when the Judges defeated Keene State College, 174-125. Junior Hollis Viray (Glastonbury, Conn.) and rookie Angela Chui (Toms River, N.J.) each won three individual events and were part of a winning relay team.
