Ron LeClair is in his fifth year on the Brandeis Athletic Training and Strength & Conditioning staff. He works with all of the Brandeis teams, and is the primary Strength & Conditioning Coach for baseball, softball and women's basketball.
Prior to joining Brandeis’s staff, LeClair spent seven years as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Miami where he got his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration (2006). During his tenure there he worked with the football, baseball and rowing teams as a Graduate Assistant (2004-2006) and primarily with women’s soccer (2006), baseball and the cheer and dance squads once joining their staff full-time (2006-2011).
A native of Rochester, NH, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Cum Laude, in Athletic Training from Northeastern University in 2002. Before leaving New England for Miami, LeClair worked two stints as a seasonal intern Athletic Trainer with the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots (2001-02; 2003-04). He was also an Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. Sebastian's School in Needham, MA (2002-2004).
LeClair is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), passing his NATABOC exam in 2002. He is a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2012 and an ASOP Registered Orthopedic Technician (ROT) since 2011. Enjoys golfing and watching movies during his free time. He is married to his wife Kerrin, formerly Bradbury of Taunton, MA, in 2010 and they welcomed their son Bradley into the world on Valentine’s Day 2013.
