• Excelled in both football and baseball and also captained the baseball team.
• Regarded as the best college catcher in New England, he batted a school record of 435 and he also topped the Greater Boston League in hitting.
• In football, he was a standout as a defensive fullback
• Inducted into Brandeis Hall of Fame, April 15, 2000
